Whole Family Health Center Adds Four New Physicians
Expanded Healthcare Services in Fort Pierce and Vero Beach
Whole Family Health Center, a nonprofit provider of healthcare services with offices in Fort Pierce and Vero Beach, is expanding its medical staff to include four new physicians---three Family Medicine physicians and a Pediatrician.
“We’re very excited to introduce our newest physicians to the community,” says Whole Family Health Center CEO Marie Andress. “They will enable us to serve even more patients throughout the area and meet the healthcare needs of everyone from infants through adults.”
Whole Family Health Center, formerly AIDS Research and Treatment Center of the Treasure Coast (ARTCTC), has been active in the community since its founding in 1995 by Dr. Gerald Pierone, Jr., who has had a longstanding interest in caring for patients coping with the complications of HIV treatment. The Center now offers a full range of primary care and internal medicine services including wellness visits, vaccinations, diabetes care, hypertension, treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, behavioral health, and pediatrics. An onsite pharmacy offering discounted pricing, and diagnostic lab, make the Center’s offices a one-stop provider for the entire family.
As a federally-designated provider of services for individuals with limited access to care and limited resources, Whole Family Health accepts most insurances and offers a sliding fee discount program to eligible patients. No one is turned away for their lack of ability to pay.
The new physicians are: Dr. Ronald Goodman, Board Certified in Family Medicine, with more than four decades of experience in primary care; Dr. Joshua Fowler, Board Certified in Family Medicine, with experience in both the medical profession and the practice of law; Dr. Carmen Rosado, Board Certified in Pediatrics, with a longstanding successful Pediatrics practice in Fort Pierce; and Dr. Peggy Schneider, Board Certified in Family Medicine, with more than two decades of experience in primary care services at her practice in Boynton Beach. They join founder Dr. Gerald Pierone, Jr. and Medical Director Dr. Monisola Oni.
“Each of our physicians brings great warmth and respect to our patients along with their medical expertise,” says Andress. “Along with our team of nurse practitioners, nurses, therapists and technicians, they are partners with our patients in their health and well-being.”
