Dr. Robert Kenney Welcomed Back to Day Medical Center in Stuart
Stuart, FLA - Dr. Robert Kenney, one of the founding physicians and the first Medical Director of the Day Medical Center, is once again accepting new patients at the Kane Center campus of the Council on Aging of Martin County.
“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Kenney back,” said Council on Aging CEO Karen Ripper. “In his previous six years with us, he established a reputation for treating every patient with respect. Over and over, his patients told us that he’s a doctor who really listens and cares. We’re so glad he’s home with us again.”
Robert E. Kenney, MD, is a board certified Internal Medicine specialist with more than thirty years of experience in primary care. He received his medical degree from the Miller School of Medicine at the University of Miami and also holds a Ph.D. in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Miami. He completed his Residency in Primary Care Internal Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Kenney has held leadership posts and both research and teaching positions throughout Florida. For the past three years he has served as a primary care physician and senior medical director in the Pembroke Pines area.
At the Joseph C. & Ann S. Day Medical Center, Dr. Kenney will be seeing adult patients from Monday through Thursday each week. The Day Medical Center, in addition to accepting new patients, is also able to offer same-day urgent visits for established patients. It is located at 900 SE Salerno Road in Stuart.
